Routines for learning
Our teachers are trained to plan their lessons so that all students receive a consistent education from one classroom to the next. The tone is set for every lesson with a ‘Do Now’, a task presented for completion at the start of a lesson to ensure a quick and orderly start to learning. Language for questioning, mini whiteboard use and feedback have all been thought about. This means that students receive the same instructions in every classroom and therefore any confusion for expectations is removed and learning time can be maximised.
