Development planning
Dixons Kings Academy opened on 1 January 2015. The academy is a six-form entry co-educational 11-16 school. As a Dixons school, we have very high expectations of staff, students and parents but we value them all highly.
Our priorities:
1. Build Purposeful Leadership
1.1 Demonstrate outstanding progress and achievement
1.2 Leaders are created and supported throughout the academy
2. Create an Engaging Learning Community
2.1 Create a positive and structured environment
2.2 Strong links are made between the academy and the community
3. Promote a Love of Learning
3.1 All learning develops the skills, knowledge and understanding of students
3.2 All students make good or better progress
